The Vancouver Canucks have scheduled a press conference at 11:30 this morning. Word from the rink is that the team will annouce its 12th captain in team history. The press conference will be streaned live from canucks.com.

Willie Mitchell should be captian. He can focus on leading the team as well a playing a great hockey game. Willie Mitchell is also a great roll model for the rookies een though he’s not the top goal scorer on the team.

Yay Emme, my oficial supporter!!!! lol, Im also with emma, Mitchell can talk to the team on the bench and the refs really easy, where as luongo cant- he is in net the whole time. He has to focus on netminding not leading the team.
