A bit of a letdown

Ah yes, our old team is back. I keep kicking myself for getting upset with them. After watching them for almost 40 years you’d think I would remember how good they aren’t.

They like to remind us once in a while, eh?

I’m actually feeling good about tomorrow night’s game. I think it’s the kind of game that will jolt them back into “playoff” mode.

A letdown is a good way to put it. The Canucks are rather fragile I think. It’s great when they get on a winning streak but it only takes a little to bump them off of it.

I’m feeling good about the Calgary game as well. The Canucks need to learn to play with more grit and heart if they want to get anywhere as a team. Hopefully Calgary can spark this in them.

Here’s hoping the Kings can do us a favor tonight. (Not that taking on Cloutier wasn’t a big enough favor.) If the Kings beat the Flames in regulation tonight, then the Canucks will control their own NW title destiny again.
