    i think we all share this thought with the sedins… but let’s see what happens… i’m kinda leaning towards starting fresh all toghether, even if we have to take chances on the younger players and rebuild then so be it… it might be the best thing the canucks have ever done… i think with centerpieces like hodgson and schneider we finally have something that is canuck grown and not short term fixes, which is what luongo is!

    Even though it’s reported, it’s still a rumour and highly unlikely to be the final take-it-or-leave-it offer. We all know how accurate the rumours from Sweden are. Last summer one big rumour out of Sweden is that Sundin would sign with the Rangers.

    Yes, the 12 year deal is a bit long. But for $5 mill each, we won’t be able to get free agent players with the point production and longevity that the sedins bring for the same kind of money. Remember, there’s 164 points ro replace if they aren’t signed. The long term front-loaded contract is the only way a team is going to afford to have both Sedins playing for them.
