I still stand by Broduer, but he was a let down. Regardless, i think the big problem is with the forwards not looking like a team.

Last night, we saw the Americans as ONE, but we didnt see Canada try to play as ONE. The Russians found their GEM and Canada has yet to find this gold combo.

Maybe give Heatley a try with Crosby/Nash

Canada’s forwards have chemistry. Heatley, Marleau and Thornton is the one line you don’t want to break up.

I thought for the most part Canada’s forwards looked like they gelled for the first time and it truly was Brodeur’s poor play that cost us.

  5. Richard,
I am sorry to have to disagree… I think Luongo should have been in the net and as soon as I saw
Broduer I knew it was going to be a struggle. Must
    be a women’s intuition…

Luongo should have been in his home net period.

I would have really liked to see Canada win. I live in Washington, and a serious Canucks fan.

Brodeur had his chance and he messed it up. I was all for him starting and leading us in this tournament until it all started to fall apart. Lu should start the next game.

Brodeur is not all to blame though. The old geezers Pronger and Niedermayer have played badly, and there needs to be more communication between the team overall. The forwards also need killer instinct to score when the golden chances are there.
