Hey Caylie,
It’s puck drop. It’s go time.
And there are Canada flags all over Rogers Arena. Damn straight.

Hi Chris,
What a furious pace to start the game. It seems like the Canucks found their legs on the way back from Boston.
I like that we are playing aggressively, DURING PLAY, however we have taken 3 horrible penalties. We need to stay out of the box, we can’t keep giving them such good chances.

Hey Caylie,
Is this really the 1st intermission? Wow! A fast paced game like this really plays into the Canucks favour. And you’re dead on about the penalties – I love the fact the Canucks are dictating the play & being aggressive to the puck, but we can’t keep killing penalties off.
And after the play from Luongo, wonder what the haters are saying right now?

Hi Chris,
This has to be the most intense game of the series. I don’t know about you but I was having trouble breathing one that one shift from Boston. It felt like they were in our zone for about 5 minutes
Tanner Glass needs to focus less on scrabble and more on hitting the puck. We have had golden opportunities but haven’t capitalized. Although our PP looks a little more organized, not scoring is unacceptable.
This is going to be one hell of a 3rd period. Will Raffi be the hero again?

Hey Caylie,
Now word of a lie. I feel the same way I did during Game 7 against the Rangers in ’94.
I still think the Canucks powerplay is trying to hard to make the pretty play. Just get it on net and collapse to the puck! Mind you, I don’t think we’ll see a penalty called in the third – unless it’s murder. Or a puck over the glass.

Hi Chris,
What a bounce back game from Roberto Luongo and the rest of the team. This was a team win and what a win it was.
I wasn’t here in ’94, but this is a great feeling. The city and the team are ready!
We are 1 win away!!!!

Hey Caylie,
Having lived through ’94, the game tonight had the same feel, yet a much different result.
The goal we saw from Lappy is the type we’ll need in Boston. In fact, I think we’ll need a few to win it there. The Boston crowd is going to be hopping loud and I don’t imagine the Bruins will give much quarter. The Canucks will have to stick to this gameplan to out-hustle and will require another Game 5 performance from Louie.
Are we really one win away?
