C4 – a CHB podcast

Johnny from Tokyo… err… Matt Lee is back and brings the heat to episode 30 of the C4 podcast!

Rejoining Chris in studio and Clay by phone, the boys discuss the optimism in the Smylosphere and how one comment from “Johnny from Tokyo” has helped turn around Luca Sbisa’s career in Vancouver. And obviously, the topic of suspensions is up for the discussion as they pick apart why Burrows deserved three games (or not) and what Andrew Ference of the Edmonton Oilers should receive for his head shot to Vancouver’s Zack Kassian (he got three games too).

Update: Episode 30 and not 23 is now up and running. Many apologies for the mix up!

Chris is the Head, Social & Community Relations here at CHB, hosts the C4 podcast and is the guy who goes streaking when Chris Tanev scores goals. He's also still looking for 1.21 gigawatts of power.

Small chance that you accidentally re-uploaded an old episode instead of the new one…

Small chance? Pretty big chance. Too much egg nog too early in the season. Should be fixed now.

Thanks AJ for keeping us on our toes haha. And thanks for listening!

I can’t believe you guys are writing off 23-year old Zack Kassian who is only playing in his second full NHL season. 30-point crash and banger? Dude had 29 points in his first full season last season! Without PP time!

  5. Chris Golden says:

So you’re saying you see consistency developing in his game?

[…] beating the optimism shared by Clay in the last episode, the Canucks acquired 6 of a possible 8 points. Was that enough to sway pessimists Chris and Matt? […]
