The Crazy CanucksIt’s a roller coaster ride. There’s no other way to explain this season, and fans are jumping off the bus left and right. But don’t fret! The season isn’t over just yet, and you shouldn’t be getting out of your seats and leaving before the second intermission. There’s still plenty of Canucks hockey to be played, and we are doing our best to stay away from the complaints department. We won’t claim to know all the answers, but the situation frustrates us just as much as you probably are.

The Crazy CanucksIt’s been a while since we’ve done an episode, but we’re doing our best to fill you in on what’s happened since the last one as well as our thoughts about what’s been going on with the Canucks over that time. From Sundin to LaBarbara, there has been a lot to talk about and consider with the current slump the team is in. We do our best to cover as much as we can while staying under an hour. Listen in and see how the crew has been handling this winter of our discontent.

The Crazy CanucksHere we are again to round up our thoughts on the Canucks minus one Rebecca, but the rest of the crew is together for this episode. Without a road map, we wander down the games that have been, talk about the goalie situation, look ahead to the rest of this road trip, and scatter on various topics like Cody Hodgson, Mats Sundin (even though we outlawed that topic an episode or two ago), and other punditry that ensues.

The Crazy CanucksAlthough touted as the super groin spectacular due to Luongo’s injury being the top story in Vancouver news over the last week or so, this episode is pretty much about a team united (and happy to boot). All of co-hosts join together to talk lines, recent wins, upcoming road trips, and to try and figure out the meaning behind the end of game hoots and hollers for Sanford.

The Crazy CanucksEveryone gathered this evening for a quick episode where we discuss Luongo’s early November shutout streak, the third jersey, the Canucks making their film debut, and some making their debut in Manhattan. Third jersey talks, and a whole lot of Wellwood appreciation round out this edition of The Crazy Canucks.

The Crazy CanucksIt’s been a strange ride since our last episode. We’re without J.J. on this one while he is out east for work, but you can expect to hear about some of his adventures as a Canucks fan in the land of… well… out there. However, it’s strange in the terms of watching a team that gives us great highs and puzzling lows.

The Crazy CanucksWe’ve been having fun spotting the crew on various posters and buses around the lower mainland, so feel free to look through The Crazy Canucks Pool on Flickr to see some of them. We’re also six games into the 2008-2009 regular season, so we take some time to reflect on what we’ve seen and parse through what we think about what we saw.

The Crazy CanucksAt this point, we’re undefeated. Sure, it’s the pre-season, but we’re not complaining about a 6-0 record thus far. New faces are impressing us, a new coaching style seems to be working well, and the new lines are producing better than anyone has really expected. We also got our answer about who will be captain this season, so there is something to be said about that. Rebecca is a not so healthy scratch for this one, but the rest of the crew gathers with their homework in tow on some new faces on our lineup.

The Crazy CanucksWe’re back. Season three of TCC kicks off with a quick gathering of the crew to has out what to expect for the coming season as well as some cool things going on with each of our various projects. We take a look back as who we’ve lost, the new faces (that we kinda think we know something about but don’t know half as much as we’d like), hash out the who does what for TV and radio play-by-play, and take assignments for new names of the team for show and tell later.
