They’re working with him in the off season by getting him a nutritionist and helping him to improve his skating. He’s still quite young. Bernier seems to love Vancouver and from what you hear is a good teammate. I think it’s a good move. Now how about getting those Swedins and Welly signed, hmmm?

    Not a big fan of Steve’s did very little in playoff, can’t see him being a big gunner in the future. We should lock up Wellwood lots of upside, keep Roberto, Twins, Mat.

    Canuck forwards will soon be having operations to deal with a number of injuries. Pavol Demitra will have shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, winger Taylor Pyatt will have arthroscopic surgery on his knee, Alex Burrows will need a bone chip removed from his wrist and Ryan Johnson will need more work on an injured finger.
