Not so. When the pain persisted for three weeks, the Brampton Battalion centre had another X-ray and this one showed a hairline fracture that will keep the first-round draft choice sidelined until the OHL playoffs....

From Iain MacIntyre (Vancouver Sun): Kevin Connauton was back on the ice at Clare Drake Arena giving lessons here Wednesday. Except this time he was schooling the University of Alberta Golden Bears. The Vancouver Canuck prospect who grew up in nearby Spruce Grove and spent last summer working as an instructor at the Golden Bears’ hockey school, scored twice in 38 seconds to launch his team of National Hockey League prospects to its 4-3 win against the University of Alberta.
